In the human nervous system, there is a chemical called "acetylcholine", which can help the brain "transmit signals" to muscles through nerve cells to activate muscle contraction. After injecting Botox, acetylcholine is disturbed and loses its signal transmission function. The information transmission between muscles and nerves is also blocked, and the muscles cannot be controlled to produce movements. Muscle fibers gradually relax, wrinkles are smoothed, dynamic lines on the surface disappear, and the skin becomes smooth. The effect lasts for 3-7 days, and it takes about a month to achieve the full effect.

Precautions for Botox Treatment

Precautions before injection

If you are taking medicine at the same time, or if you are allergic or pregnant, please consult your doctor in advance.
It is not recommended for people with heart disease, high blood pressure, myasthenia gravis or coagulation problems.

Precautions after injection

If there are bruises or edema at the injection site, you can apply ice compresses to relieve it, and it will slowly recover after about 2-3 days.
Please refrain from doing too strenuous exercise within 24 hours after injection to avoid affecting the postoperative effect.
Within seven days after the injection, avoid massaging the treatment area, applying excessive external force, hot compresses, phototherapy and high-temperature places (oven, sauna) to avoid the spread of toxin-producing bacteria to other muscles.
